St John Bosco (Don Bosco)
Feast Day: 31st January
John Bosco , a young priest who focused his concern on the orphaned and homeless child labourers he encountered in Turin, Italy. In 1859, inspired by the example of St. Francis de Sales, Don Bosco founded the Salesians to befriend, educate, and help these impoverished boys.

Saint Dominic Savio •A Hero for the Youth today!
Feast Day: 6th May
Dominic Savio (April 2, 1842-March 9, 1857) is the youngest person that the Catholic Church has ever declared to be a saint on the basis of his heroic virtue alone—his exceptional goodness. Dominic’s life shows that no one is ever too young to grow close to God.

St Anthony of Padua
Feast Day: 13th June
The sight of the bodies of the first Franciscan Martyrs brought back from Morocco in 1220 so inflamed Ferdinand Bouillon with a desire for martyrdom that having obtained permission, he joined the newly founded Mendicant Order of St Francis d’Assisi, taking the name, Anthony.

St Thérèse of Lisieux
Feast Day: 1st October

Catholics have revered this young saint for generations, called her the "Little Flower," and found more inspiration for their own lives in her short life than in volumes of theologians.

However, Therese only spent a less than ten years as a cloistered Carmelite before she passed away at the age of 24.

St Francis of Assisi
Feast Day: 4th October
Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of Italy, was a poor little man who amazed and inspired the Church by accepting the gospel literally—not in a puritanical way, but by truly adhering to everything that Jesus said and did, joyously, without restriction, and without a sense of self-importance.
